Ryan Murphy is bringing back some familiar faces for AMERICAN HORROR STORY season eight, which may be titled Radioactive. Kathy Bates, Sarah Paul, and Evan Peters are all set for the show with details on who they’ll be playing being kept under wraps. Bates did not appear in the last season as she was in the midst of filming her Netflix comedy series Disjointed.
“Kathy and Sarah Paulson have a lot of great stuff to get to do,” Murphy told EW. “So, with Evan Peters, the three of them are the leads this year.”
Murphy often uses the same actors across his series. In addition to AHS, Bates appeared in the anthology series Feud, whose first season followed the rivalry between Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. Paulson gave an Emmy-winning performance in Murphy’s first season of American Crime Story: The People vs. OJ as well as appearing in Feud. Both actors have won Emmy’s for their performances, Bates for playing Madame Delphine LaLaurie in AHS and Paulson for her portrayal of Marcia Clarke in People vs. OJ.
Bates and Peters are represented by CAA. Paulson is represented by ICM Partners.
