Keanu Reeves has signed on to star in Eli Roth’s KNOCK KNOCK. The psychological thriller follows two young girls who show up unexpectedly at the home of a married man where they seduce him and wreak havoc on his perfect life. Reeves will play the man seduced by Lorenza Izzo and Ana de Armas while Ignacia Allamand will play Reeves’ wife.
Reeves has been laying low lately, especially after the box office flop “47 Ronin” but one good starring role could turn that all around for him and this could be it. Roth, on the other hand, has seen his career blow up as he has quickly gained a reputation as one of the hottest horror directors around. You’ll recognize him as Donny Donowitz from “Inglorious Basterds” but with writing and directing credits that include “Cabin Fever” and “Grindhouse,” his reputation certainly precedes him. Maybe he can help his new pal Keanu out. Next up for Reeves is a starring role as Dr. Jekyll/Edward Hyde in “Jekyll.”
