Keegan-Michael Key and Regina Hall are the latest to join New Line’s VACATION. The reboot of the 1983 film features Ed Helms as a grown Rusty Griswold, who follows in his father’s footsteps by taking his family on a trip to Wally World. The film co-stars Leslie Mann, Christina Applegate, Charlie Day and Chris Hemsworth. The film also features the original film’s stars Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo. The film is written and directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein. Key and Hall will play family friends to the Griswolds that are described as a perfect family.
Key recently made public attention with his hit Comedy Central sketch show “Key and Peele.” Key has also recently been featured in “The Lego Movie,” “Hell Baby,” “Teacher of the Year” and “Let’s Be Cops.” Up next, Key has a slew of films with “Horrible Bosses 2,” “Kitchen Sink” and the Brad Bird directed “Tomorrowland.” Key is also producing the upcoming “Police Academy” remake.
Also prominently featured in comedic roles, Hall is notably known for her work in the “Scary Movie” horror satire series. Hall recently starred in comedies “Death at a Funeral,” Think Like A Man” alongside Kevin Hart, “The Best Man Holiday,” “About Last Night” and “Think Like A Man Too.” Next up, Hall stars in the comedy sequel “The Best Man Wedding.”
