Set in a mythical New York City, the story follows an orphan and master-mechanic (Colin Farrell) who attempts to rob a fortress-like mansion on the Upper West Side. Once inside, however, the orphan discovers a dying young woman, whom he falls in love with. Also starring in the film are Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connolly, Jessica Brown Findlay, Will Smith, Matt Bomer, Lucy Griffiths and Eva Marie Saint. Corrigan will play Romeo Tan, the right-hand-man to Crowe’s character Pearly Soames, a violent criminal figure.
Goldsman will produce with Kerry Foster and Marc Platt.
Corrigan, whose made a name for himself in supporting roles, is coming off of Martin McDonagh’s acclaimed sophomore effort “Seven Psychopaths” and has several films coming up including “Somebody Up There Likes Me”, “Funeral Kings” and “Supporting Characters”.
