Squarespace has announced that Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele will provide live commentary during Super Bowl 50 on Sunday–in character, no less. The duo famous for their hit Comedy Central sketch series Key & Peele will appear as their characters Lee and Morris (see video below) in REAL TALK WITH LEE AND MORRIS, presented by Squarespace.
There is a catch, however (no pun intended). Due to the fact that the NFL owns all rights to the game and CBS being the exclusive broadcaster, the comedians will not be able to talk directly about either the game or its players. Rather, they will be improvising live on the air, performing verbal gymnastics to avoid any legal ramifications from the notoriously litigious organization. You can watch Real Talk’s live broadcast here, beginning at 6PM EST / 3PM PT.
Key is repped by UTA and Principato-Young.
Peele is repped by CAA, UTA and Principato-Young.
