Kit Harington will star as the lead in THE DEATH AND LIFE OF JOHN F. DONOVAN. Harington will play an American film star whose correspondence with an 11-year-old actor living with his mother in England is exposed, leading to negative assumptions that ignite a volatile public reaction, affecting his life and career. He will join Emily Hampshire and Jessica Chastain. The film is written and directed by Xavier Dolan.
Harington gained public awareness from his breakout role as Jon Snow on HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones. Ever since, the star has appeared in multiple feature films, notably starring in Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, Pompeii, How to Train Your Dragon 2, and Testament of Youth. Up next, he’ll appear in Seventh Son alongside Jeff Bridges, Spooks: The Greater Good, Greenland Time and the TV movie 7 Days in Hell. He’ll also continue his run on Game of Thrones.
