While most televised awards shows have someone famous hosting them, the annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards has usually gone with actors in attendance at the annual awards dinner to introduce the show.

For the first time ever, the 24th will have an actual host, as actor has been selected by executive Kathy Connell and the Committee to fulfill that role.

“This has been a year in which assumptions have been challenged, stereotypes have been shattered, and precedents have been broken. We decided to capture the cultural mood by casting aside one of our own traditions, and we’re thrilled to have such a talented performer like Bell help us do so,” Connell is quoted in the press release.

Depending on your age, Bell might be best known as the voice of Anna in Disney’s Oscar-winning animated film Frozen or as the title star of the CW’s Veronica Mars. She also has starred in raunchy R-rated comedies like Forgetting Sarah MarshallBad Moms and its recent holiday sequel which is still in theaters. Bell also currently stars with Ted Danson on the NBC comedy The Good Place.

The nominations for the 24th annual SAG awards will be announced on Weds, Dec. 13.
