Kristen Schaal and January Jones will join the forthcoming FOX television series THE LAST MAN ON EARTH. The comedy series, starring Will Forte, will premiere in early March 2015. Schaal will play Carol Pilbasian while Jones will play a woman named Melissa. They will join Mel Rodriguez and Cleopatra Coleman. The series follows a lone man as he navigates the earth at its end. The series was created and written by Forte, who executive produces with Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Seth Cohen.
Schaal has recently lent her voice to the Netflix series BoJack Horseman and currently stars on the animated FOX hit Bob’s Burgers. Schaal has also lent her voice to the animated features Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, Despicable Me 2, Toy Story 3 and the subsequent Toy Story short films. Up next, she’ll star in A Walk in the Woods and Lost in Austin.
Jones recently starred in X-Men: First Class, Seeking Justice, Sweetwater and Good Kill. Up next, the Mad Men actress will star in the thriller The Shuddering.
