Well, there are basically no other confirmable plot details, but Lady Gaga will star as a series regular in the latest iteration of FX’s horror anthology AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL.

Gaga announced her involvement with the series this morning via Twitter, and she also announced that the 5th season would be themed “Hotel.”
Created by Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy (Glee, Nip/Tuck), American Horror Story is a horror anthology series that centers on different characters, locations, and time frames each season. So far we’ve had a haunted house, an insane asylum, a coven of witches, and a freak show. And now it looks like Murphy and Falchuk are bringing their oft-returning cast to a hotel. Series regulars include Jessica Lange (who may not return this season), Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, Frances Conroy, Kathy Bates, Taissa Farmiga, and Angela Bassett.
At the TCA Winter Press Tour, FX Networks CEO John Landgraf previously told TVLine that the 5th season of AHS would be “unusually large reinvention” from the previous seasons and would likely return to present day.
FX renewed American Horror Story for a 13-episode fifth season, which is set to premiere in October of 2015.
Gaga is repped by WME.
