We are excited to announce that Launch Pad alum Bradley Starr has signed with Dash Aiken and Rock Shaink of Romark Entertainment to become the latest in a grand tradition of Launch Pad writers finding representation after placing in our competitions.
Starr earned a top finalist spot in the Launch Pad feature competition, landing in the top 1% of all writers that year with his Launch Pad project POINT NEMO which is described as CAST AWAY meets MISERY. The story follows a shipwrecked man who is rescued by a woman living on a boat in the middle of the ocean, and soon discovers that she is hiding sinister secrets. Our readers found the thriller to be “tightly written… with fun twists and unexpected creepiness around every corner” and praised Starr’s ability to “delve deep into the psyches of its characters with nuanced dialogue, clear, cinematic action writing, and a creeping sense of dread.”
Starr, a screenwriter and novelist, lives in Los Angeles and has worked as a Story Analyst and Script Reader for companies such as Netflix, Paradigm, UTA and Village Roadshow Pictures. He is a graduate of New York University and has also previously worked for CAA and OddLot Entertainment.
With this signing, Starr joins the more than 400 Launch Pad writers who have landed representation since Launch Pad began.
