Three days and three writers signed, as LONE WOLF scribe Joe Swafford becomes the next writer signed coming out of our recently announced winners pool from the Launch Pad Feature Competition. Swafford has signed with Brett Carducci and Georgia Vestakis of Aligned Entertainment.
Swafford’s script ‘Lone Wolf’, which appeared in this years finalists was an immediate town favorite, being favorably compared to Zodiac and Patriot’s Day, while tracking the aftermath of the Oklahoma City bombing from the perspective of a state trooper and two FBI agents who team up to put the pieces together. The story brings to life a powerful and poignant tale of domestic terrorism, that plays squarely into the political climate of today, all the while delivering impeccably researched fragments scattered amongst the hyper-realistic characters that pull you into the puzzle.
Hailing from St. Louis, Swafford is a Columbia College of Chicago grad who made the jump to Los Angeles in 2017. Following a handful of impressive internships in the management and development space he was plucked by none other than Ivan Drago himself, Dolph Lundgren, to work alongside him as an assistant. When not orchestrating moves for the powerhouse man himself, Swafford can be found behind a keyboard neurotically writing his next project.
Swafford is one of the dozen writers who have landed representation following our recent LPFC announcement, and one of more than 350+ that have landed reps in the past five years.
