Laura Benanti Inks With CAA

Actress and singer Laura Benanti has signed on with CAA. The Tony Award winner is most well known for her Broadway performances as Maria in “The Sound of Music,” as Cinderella in “Into the Woods” and as Louise in “Gypsy.” She has also appeared on drama/musical “Take the Lead” with Antonio Banderas, on USA’s medical drama “Royal Pains” and in NBC’s live performance of “The Sound of Music” this time playing Elsa Schrader. It’s rumored that she may return to Broadway in a Golden Age musical revival next season.
