Laura Vandervoort has signed on for Universal’s TED and will star alongside Seth MacFarlane, Mila Kunis, Mark Wahlberg, Adam Scott, Joel McHale Giovanni Ribisi and others in a comedy centering on a man and his teddy bear, who comes to life as the result of a childhood wish. Macfarlane will direct from a script co-written with Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild. Vandervoort will the role of Tanya, a sales girl who works with John (Wahlberg) who is mostly clueless at the number of men who fantasize about her all day.
Macfarlane and Scott Stuber will produce with John Jacobs, Victoria Metzger and Modi Wiczyk.
Vandervoort is repped by The Noble Caplan Abrams Agency and Levine Okwu Erickson.
