Lauren Cohan, who is based known for playing Maggie on The Walking Dead, has signed on to join Mark Wahlberg in Peter Berg’s action thriller MILE 22, the Tracking Board has confirmed.
STXfilms is behind the project, which is slated to co-star former UFC champ Ronda Rousey, The Raid star Iko Uwais and John Malkovich.
The film will follow an elite intelligence officer who must escort a police officer with sensitive information to a getaway plane at an airport 22 miles away.
Berg will produce the film under his Film 44 banner, and the script was written by Graham Roland and Lea Carpenter. John Logan Pierson will executive produce the project, which begins shooting at the end of November. Kate Vorhoff and Drew Simon will oversee the production.
Cohan played Martha Wayne in Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and her other credits include The Boy and Death Race 2. She’s represented by CAA.
