In a further blurring of the lines between webseries and traditional TV, go90 will turn its comedy series NOW WE’RE TALKING into a full half hour for its upcoming second season.
Created, written, executive produced by and starring Tommy Dewey and Tug Coker, the second season of Now We’re Talking will continue the rivalry between Tug and Tommy — two former professional football quarterbacks. In season two, the frenemies find their stride as they take the leap into employment as professional broadcasters.
Season 1 of the series, from LeBron James’ Uninterrupted production company and Warner Bros. Television Group’s digital studio Blue Ribbon Content, consisted of seven eight-minute episodes, while Season 2’s eight episodes will all hit around the 22-minute mark, in the mold of a traditional broadcast network sitcom.
Guest stars for season two include Michael Mosley, Kyle Bornheimer, Cynthy Wu, Bonnie Somerville, Adam Lustick, Kellee Stewart and Ryan Michelle Bathe.
Coker & Dewey serve as executive producers, along with Maverick Carter, Jason Berger and Amy Laslett. Laura Murphy is the director.
