There isn’t a better way to test out a Star Trek VR game than with actual cast members from the franchise.
During a demonstration at E3, LeVar Burton, famous for his role as Geordi La Forge in Star Trek: The Next Generation was joined by Jeri Ryan from Star Trek: Voyager and Karl Urban from the upcoming Star Trek Beyond to test the all-too-real VR game, Star Trek: Bridge Crew. From the footage, the game immerses you into the bridge as if you are actually part of the crew. You can interact with your crew members, attack Klingons, and do everything and anything else that Spock or Captain Kirk would do on a mission. But the best thing about all of this is that we got to see three generations of Star Trek cast members having fun while play the game. Somewhere out there, a fanboy’s head is exploding from all this Star Trek realness.
