Linda Cardellini is set to join Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg in DADDY’S HOME. The Paramount Pictures comedy centers on the perfect stepdad who finds himself fighting for his family’s affections when their real father comes crashing back into their lives. Cardellini has been cast as Farrell’s wife. Sean Anders is directing from a script he penned with Adam McKay, Etan Cohen, Brian Burns, John Morris, and Chris Henchy.
Cardellini is best known for her TV credits, for roles in series like Freaks and Geeks, ER, and Mad Men. She has also appeared in Legally Blonde, the Scooby Doo films, and Brokeback Mountain. More recently, Cardellini starred in the dramedy Welcome to Me. She currently stars in the Netflix crime series Bloodline with Kyle Chandler and Sissy Spacek.
