“Lost” Writer To Pen “Xena” Reboot For NBC

The series is set up at with Tapert and Raimi’s shingle . The project is still in early development with no casting announcements made. 

Grillo-Marxuach has previously worked on several television series including Lost, Charmed, the Charlie’s Angels reboot, as well as co-executive producing Helix

It was reported over the summer that NBC was considering rebooting the 90s action series, though series star Lucy Lawless initially denied the rumors via Twitter. 

The show is one of several re-imagined series in development at NBC. It was previously announced that Bryan Fuller was adapted a new run of Steven Spielberg’s Amazing Stories, as well as film-to-tv adaptations of All of Me and Cruel Intentions
