Literally minutes after it was announced that Tom Welling had been cast in THE CHOICE, Alexandra Daddario and Maggie Grace are also joining the cast of the adaptation. Based on the Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name, the romantic drama follows two neighbors who embark on a decade-long love affair. Grace and Daddario join Benjamin Walker and Teresa Palmer who will star as the couple. Ross Katz is directing from a script penned by Bryan Sipe.
Grace got her big break playing Shannon on the first few seasons of “Lost” before going on to roles in the “Taken” franchise and “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Parts 1 & 2.” More recently, she appeared in the indie dramedy “About Alex” with Aubrey Plaza and Jason Ritter. Next up, Grace will reprise her role as Kim in “Taken 3” and will star in Larry Moss’ dramedy “Relative Insanity.”
Daddario, likewise, got her start on TV in USA’s “White Collar.” From there she went on to roles in “Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief” and “Texas Chainsaw 3D,” as well as TV roles on “Californication” and “True Detective.” Daddario currently stars in Joe Dante’s comedy/horror flick “Burying the Ex” and will appear opposite Dwayne Johnson in “San Andreas.”
