Maggie Siff and Talitha Bateman are the latest actors to join the cast of THE 5TH WAVE. The sci-fi thriller is set during the time when the human race is on the verge of extinction and one of the last survivors on earth, an extraordinary young woman Cassie (played by Chloe Grace Moretz), goes on a mission to track down her younger brother, Sammy, who was abducted by the extraterrestrial creatures colonizing Earth. She is forced to align herself with a young man who holds a secret, and together, they must save mankind. Siff has been cast as Cassie and Sammy’s mother Lisa, while Bateman will play Teacup, a little girl who is part of the child army with Sammy. Liev Schreiber, Ron Livingston, Maika Monroe, and Nick Robinson round out the cast.
