Malcolm McDowell and Corey Feldman have been tapped for the Ben Jagger-directed CORBIN NASH, a vampire noir pic that follows a New York City cop who is on the hunt for the people who killed his parents. His search brings him to Los Angeles where he is murdered but then brought back to life as deadly killer.
McDowell will play a character named the Blind Prophet while Feldman takes a turn as a cross-dressing vampire. Also joining the cast are Rutger Hauer as a character that is simply described as a mysterious stranger and Bruce Davison who is set to play the title character’s stepfather. They all are joined by Richard Wagner, who will play Feldman’s lover as well as Fernanda Romero. Dean Jagger will topline the cast as the titular Corbin Nash.
The movie marks the first feature for StarTree Productions. Todd Grossman, Justin Steele, Matthew Berkowitz, Carmen Aiello will serve as producers with Wagner as the exec producer. Christopher P. Taylor penned the script with Ben and Dean Jagger.
McDowell can currently be seen in Amazon’s Golden Globe-winning series Mozart in the Jungle. He also stars in Rob Zombie’s horror, 31 as well as the forthcoming Death Race 2050. He is repped by Danis, Panaro, Nist Talent.
Feldman is widely known for his roles in many ’80s movies including The Goonies and The Lost Boys. He recently appeared in films such as Intrusion: Disconnected, Body High and also lent his voice to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV series. He is repped by Phil Shapiro.
