Edgar Wright’s and J.J. Abrams’ Collider has a new writer. The Revenant‘s Mark L. Smith is taking a crack at a draft of the script. Details on the plot have been kept tightly under wraps, but it’s rumored to be a very original sci-fi premise.
The previous draft of the film was written by Mark Protosevich, who penned the I Am Legend and Old Boy remakes. Wright has said in previous statements that Collider was an idea that he thought up, but hasn’t had the time to write.
Smith is repped by WME and Anonymous Content.
