It looks like green will be a primary color on the Rainbow Bridge for THOR: RAGNAROK. Mark Ruffalo is in final talks to bring the Hulk to Asgard for the phase 3 Marvel film. Taika Waititi will be directing Chris Hemsworth and Ruffalo in the third installment in the Thor franchise, whose credits include directing What We Do in the Shadows and writing the new Disney film, Moana.
Rumors of the Thor: Ragnarok’s plot have been flying through film and comic sites, but it seems that Hulk and Thor will take an interdimensional road trip and may be teaming up with the Valkyries (or at least one Valkyrie).
Even without the blockbuster Marvel success, Ruffalo has had a busy year. He started last October with release of the Oscar-nominated Foxcatcher, then tackled the role of a bipolar father trying to keep sane while keeping his daughters in Infinitely Polar Bear, and he just had the premiere for Catholic Church scandal film Spotlight at Telluride. He is repped by UTA and Brillstein Entertainment.
