Mary McCormack and Alicia Witt are joining the fourth season of HOUSE OF LIES in guest-starring roles. The Showtime comedy takes a subversive look at a self-loathing management consultant from a top-tier firm. Don Cheadle stars as Marty, a highly successful, cutthroat consultant is never above using any means (or anyone) necessary to get his clients the information they want. McCormack is set to play Denna Altshuler, a tough, highly successful investor who Marty recruits to help save the firm. Witt is onboard as Maya Lindholm, a brilliant engineer who also comes to Marty’s rescue.
McCormack is currently filming A Country Called Home from Kickstart Productions. Written and directed by Anna Axster, the drama also stars Imogen Poots and Mackenzie Davis. She recently wrapped production on A Conspiracy on Jekyll Island, a thriller about an ex-Wall Street man whom the Secretary of the Treasury enlists to thwart a cyber attack that threatens to derail the American economy.
Witt starred alongside Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant in the rom-com Two Weeks Notice. She was most recently seen in Circus Road Films’ Away from Here, a drama about an ex-con and recovering addict who returns to his hometown seeking a chance to start his life over.
McCormack is repped by CAA and Untitled Entertainment. Witt is repped by Innovative Artists and The Schiff Company.
