Lizzy Caplan, star of Showtime’s Masters of Sex, has been cast opposite Brad Pitt, Marion Cotillard, and Jared Harris in a new spy thriller form The Walk director Robert Zemeckis. The UNTITLED THRILLER was written by Locke writer-director Steven Knight.
The story centers on two assassins who, while on a mission to kill a German official in World War II, fall in love, get married and then discover that one is a double agent that the other now must eliminate.
Zemeckis will produce with Steve Starkey through their ImageMovers shingle, alongside Graham King of GK Films. Knight, Jack Rapke, Patrick McCormick, and Denis O’Sullivan will executive produce.
Caplan, who recently appeared in the Seth Rogen comedy The Night Before, will next be seen in Now You See Me 2 with Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson. She is currently in development with the feature adaptation to the cult hit comedy series Party Down.
She is repped by WME and Rise Management.
