Maya Rudolph and Greta Lee have signed on to join Tina Fey and Amy Poehler in THE NEST. The comedy from Universal centers on two sisters who throw one last bash in their parent’s house before it’s sold. Rudolph has been cast as a friend of Fey and Poehler (obviously) while Lee will play a young mother who got a pity invite to the party.
Rudolph, like Fey and Poehler, is an “SNL” alum who also starred in the comedies “Bridesmaids,” “Away We Go,” and “The Way, Way Back.” Next up, Rudolph will star in Paul Thomas Anderson’s drama “Inherent Vice” and will lend her voice to the animated film “Big Hero 6.”
Lee is known for her role in “Inside Amy Schumer” and will next appear in the HBO series “Girls” and the upcoming Fox series “Wayward Pines,” opposite Matt Dillon and Juliette Lewis.
Rudolph is repped by WME and 3 Arts Entertainment. Lee is repped by CAA and Regarding Entertainment.
