Melissa McCarthy’s upcoming New Line college comedy LIFE OF THE PARTY is becoming a Bridesmaids reunion with joining the cast to play the neurotic best friend of McCarthy’s lead character.

McCarthy co-wrote the script with her husband, Ben Falcone, who is set to direct. The movie also stars Gillian Jacobs and Animal Kingdom star Molly Gordon as McCarthy’s daughter. McCarthy and Falcone are also producing under their On the Day banner alongside Chris Henchy. Filming will begin this month in Atlanta.

Rudolph recently appeared in the Andy Samberg mockumentary Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping as well as the comedy Sisters.
