McG is currently in talks in taking the reins of the movie based on the Mattel toy line about He-Man, a prince that becomes a powerful warrior via his magical sword to defend the land of Eternia against the villainous Skeletor.
Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch of Escape Artists are producing the movie along with DeVon Franklin of Franklin Entertainment. The script has been through a number of writers and with the last writing team being Alex Litvak and Mike Finch. McG will oversee additional rewrites.
