Radar Pictures’ MAGIC CASTLE (aka UNTITLED FOX/MAGIC CASTLE PROJECT) has tasked McG with directing duties and has brought Gabriel Ferrari and Andrew Barrer on board to write.
Although specifics on the project are being kept under wraps, the film will be in the vein of “Night at the Museum” and will take place in the famed Disney club Magic Castle.
McG will also produce with Mike Weber and Ted Field.
Writing partners Ferrari and Barrer are working on the current draft of the Sci-Fi pic “Legend” and are in development on “Die in a Gunfight” and “Sabrina, The Teenage Witch”.
McG was the man behind the actin pics “Charlie’s Angels”, “Terminator Salvation” and “This Means War”. He is currently in development on several films including “Air Show”, “Infantry” and “Columbus”.
