John Carroll Lynch, Richard T. Jones and Robert Kazinsky join the buddy action comedy previously known as DON’T MESS WITH TEXAS. Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara star a female cop and her prisoner who go on the run after a routine prison transfer is ambushed and must team up to try to clear their names and reveal the truth about the crooked cops who set them up. Lynch will play Witherspoon’s captain while Jones has been cast as her cocky partner. Kazinsky will play a charming parolee who tries to bring Witherspoon out of her shell.
Lynch’s previous roles include creepy Arthur Leigh Allen in “Zodiac,” Barber Martin in “Gran Torino” and Deputy Warden McPherson in “Shutter Island.” He currently appears on the FX series “The Americans” and will appear in crime drama “The White Orchid” with Jennifer Beals.
Jones is known for his role as Bruce Van Exel on CBS’s court room drama “Judging Amy” and for his roles on “Revolution” and “Hawaii 5-0.” He will appear in Warner Bros. remake of “Godzilla” as well as dramas “Cru” and “Another You.”
Kazinsky got his start on BBC’s “EastEnders” before going on to play Macklyn Warlow in “True Blood” and Chuck Hansen in “Pacific Rim.” He will next appear in Duncan Jones’ “Warcraft,” a fantasy/adventure based on the popular video game.
