Michael K. Williams & Carmen Ejogo Join “The Purge 2”

Michael K. Williams, , and have joined the cast of opposite Frank Grillo. The story is being kept under wraps but I’m really hoping the sequel doesn’t also take place in a house.

James DeMonaco will return to direct from his own script again. He’ll also produce with Jason Blum, Sebastien Lemercier, Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form.

Williams is best known for “The Wire” and more currently “Boardwalk Empire.” He can currently be seen in “12 Years a Slave” and will next appear in the “Robocop” remake and “Kill the Messenger.” Ejogo was last seen in “Alex Cross” and “Sparkle.” Gilford last turned up in “The Last Stand” and will soon appear in “Devil’s Due.”
