Michael Keaton is in talks to star in THE FOUNDER. The film will center on McDonald’s tycoon Ray Kroc and how he created the world’s largest fast food franchise. Keaton’s in negotiations to star as McDonald’s founder Kroc. It was recently reported that John Lee Hancock is in talks to direct. Robert Siegel wrote the script, with FilmNation, Jeremy Renner and Don Handfield producing.
Keaton was recently reported to be in talks to star in Kong: Skull Island. There’s also speculation that the actor will reprise his iconic roles as Beetlejuice for the upcoming sequel, should it ever come to fruition. Recently, the actor has been blowing up following his oscar-worthy performance in Birdman, a role that just won him a Golden Globe. Next up, he’ll voice a character in the Despicable Me spin-off, Minions.
