Michelle Pfeiffer and Domhnall Gleeson are circling roles in Darren Aronofsky’s untitled drama at Paramount starring Jennifer Lawrence. Ed Harris and Brian Gleeson are also in discussions to join the roster.
Aronofsky’s script follows a couple whose relationship is put to the test when a group of uninvited guests come into their home and disrupt their tranquil way of living. Aronofsky will also produce alongside Scott Franklin and Ari Handel of Protozoa. The film is slated for a 2017 release.
Pfeiffer’s last appeared on the big screen in Luc Besson’s The Family in 2013. The Academy Award-nominated actress can be seen next in HBO’s Bernie Madoff pic The Wizard of Lies opposite Robert De Niro. She will also star in the drama, Beat-up Little Seagull with Kiefer Sutherland. She is repped by CAA.
Gleeson’s most recent credits include four of the most acclaimed films of the year: Ex Machina, Brooklyn, The Revenant, and Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens. He is set to reprise his role as General Hux in Star Wars: Episode VIII and stars in Doug Liman’s upcoming crime thriller Mena with Tom Cruise. He was recently cast in A Futile & Stupid Gesture as National Lampoon co-founder, Henry Beard. He is repped by The Agency and Paradigm.
