The film tells the true story of Vinny Pazienza, a boxer who broke his neck in 1991 in a devastating car accident. Despite being told he’d never walk again and his career was over, Pazienza defied the doctors and went on to a 50-10 lifetime boxing record. Teller would play Pazienza while Eckhart will play his trainer.
Younger will produce with Bruce Cohen, Chad Verdi, Noah Kraft and Emma Tillinger Koskoff.
Teller has established himself as one of Hollywood’s brightest young stars, turning in excellent performances in “Rabbit Hole”, “The Spectacular Now” and Sundance pic “Whiplash.” He can currently be seen in “That Awkward Moment.”
