Milo Ventimiglia has joined Fox’s Batman origin series GOTHAM in a major recurring villain role. The show follows Commissioner James Gordon’s rise to prominence in Gotham City in the years before Batman’s arrival. Ben McKenzie stars as Jim Gordon alongside Jada Pinkett Smith, Donal Logue, and Robin Lord Taylor.
Ventimiglia will pay new baddie Jason Lennon – aka the Ogre – a vicious serial killer who preys on the young women of Gotham by luring them in as he searches for the perfect woman. He will make his first appearance in episode nineteen.
The actor is best known for his role as Peter Petrelli on NBC’s superhero series Heroes. He is currently filming the new sci-fi drama The Whispers for ABC about an unseen force that is manipulating children to act in favor of its sinister cause. As the kids unwittingly help this unknown enemy, the clock counts down on the race to save humanity. Steven Spielberg is onboard as a producer.
