Mimi Rogers has signed on for the Starz series ASH VS. EVIL DEAD. The series is a follow-up to the Evil Dead films from director Sam Raimi. The original film saw a remake in 2013, which is not in the cannon of the new series. Raimi is returning direct the pilot episode of the ten episode season that follows the continuing horrific adventures of Ash Williams, as he fights the deadites that have been connected to him since the events of the original film. Bruce Campbell and Lucy Lawless are set to star. Rogers will play the mother of Kelly, a moody woman trying to outrun her past.
Known for her roles in Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery and Ginger Snaps, Rogers will be seen in the upcoming romantic comedy This Isn’t Funny.
