Miura Haruma And Maya Fukuzawa Go On A “Ghost Hunt”



and have joined the cast of Yoshitaka Yamaguchi’s big screen adaptation.

Based on the book and manga “Ghost Hunt” written by Fuyumi Ono and Shiho Inada respectively, the film follows the adventures of a group of psychics and spiritualists from all over Japan who come together in their common interest to hunt ghosts. Haruma will play Kazuya Shibuya, the owner of Shibuya Psychic Research (SPR). Fukuzawa will play Mai Taniyama, the leader of the ghost hunters.

Yamaguchi is helming from a script penned by Atsuyuki Shimoda and Shôtarô Oikawa. Shimoda is also producing, while Shin’ichirô Inoue and Adrian Chaw executive produce.

Fukuzawa was last seen in 2010’s “Sentô shôjo: Chi no tekkamen densetsu”, known here in the states as “Mutant Girls Squad.” Since then Fukuzawa has served as executive producer on “Escape Plan”, “Grimm’s Snow White” and “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.” She’ll next appear in “Rurôni Kenshin: The Great Kyôto Fire Arc” and “Rurôni Kenshin: The End of a Legend Arc.” Haruma was last seen in Fuji TV’s “The Last Cinderella” series and will next appear in Takashi Yamazaki’s “Eien No Zero.”
