Mo McRae has joined the cast of WILD alongside Reese Witherspoon. The story follows an inexperienced hiker (Witherspoon) who tackles a 1100 mile hike to reclaim her life after a series of hardships. McRae will play a journalist for the Hobo Times who runs into Witherspoon’s character during her journey.
Nick Hornby (“An Education”) adapted Cheryl Strayed’s book of the same name. Jean-Marc Vallée (“Dallas Buyers Club”) is currently directing right now. Witherspoon and Bruna Papandrea are producing.
McRae was last seen in “Lee Daniels’ The Butler” as well as a few episodes of Showtime’s “Ray Donovan.”
He is repped by CAA.
