Morgan Freeman has signed on for COLD WARRIORS from Millennium Entertainment. Raja Gosnell is set to direct the spy action/comedy.
Morgan will play a retired CIA agent and current stepfather who enlists the help of his video gram programmer step son to finish a Cold War era mission. The script from Todd Berger is described as Taken meets Get Smart. Milliennial is currently looking to fill the role of the stepson.
Robin Schorr and Lori McCreary of Revelations Entertainment are producing alongside Millennium’s Mark Gill. Avi Lerner is executive producing.
Morgan will next be seen in Millennium’s London Has Fallen, as well as Going In Style and the remake of Ben-Hur.
Gosnell previously directed both of The Smurfs films, as well as Big Momma’s House and Yours, Mine, And Ours.
Morgan is repped by CAA and Gosnell is repped by WME.
