The series, from David E. Kelley and Dennis Lehane who are returning for Season 2, follows a psychopathic killer who commits mass murder by driving his Mercedes into a crowd of people and the recently retired cop who makes it his mission to bring him down.
The original cast, which includes Brendan Gleeson as Detective Bill Hodges, Harry Treadaway as Brady Hartsfield, Jharrel Jerome as Jerome Robinson, Scott Lawrence (“Avatar”) as Detective Peter Dixon, Breeda Wool as Lou Linklatter, Justine Lupe as Holly Gibney, Nancy Travis as Donna Hodges and Holland Taylor as Ida Silver, will return for season 2.
Huston joins the cast to play Brady Hartsfield’s doctor Dr. Felix Babineau, while Hernandez will play Assistant DA Antonio Montez.
The second season will be based on King’s best-selling Bill Hodges Trilogy, which includes Mr. Mercedes, Finders Keepers and End of Watch. Jack Bender will direct eight of the ten episodes, which will premiere in summer 2018.
