Natalie Dormer is proving herself to be a force to be reckoned with as she signs on to star in the film In Darkness–from a a script she co-wrote alongside Anthony Byrne. Byrne will direct the psychological thriller for XYZ Films.
Dormer will play a blind musician who overhears a murder in the apartment above her. She finds herself pulled into London’s dark underbelly and seemingly out of her depth, until we realize she has been following her own path of revenge for some time.
Dormer has been working steadily for some time, appearing in Casanova opposite Heath Ledger and Sienna Miller before moving onto star as Anne Boleyn in Showtime’s The Tudors. She came to mainstream attention more recently after taking roles in the HBO’s Game Of Thrones and the juggernaut young adult feature series The Hunger Games. She will next star in The Forest and Patient Zero.
