NBC is developing a family drama with Sleepy Hollow EP Albert Kim which, if it goes to series, would mark the very first broadcast network drama led by an Asian cast.
Kim is writing and executing producing the potential series, which follows a family-owned Korean electronics corporation which is rocked when the CEO dies on the eve of launching their American subsidiary and his will reveals the existence of a previously unknown heir.
Dan Lin is also serving as an EP with Lindsey Liberatore serving as co-EP on the WBTV project.
Kim is coming off of Sleepy Hollow, where he served as EP and co-showrunner. His other TV credits include Nikita, Leverage and Dirt. He is repped by ICM Partners and McKuin Frankel.
