“Skyfall” writers Neal Purvis and Robert Wade are once again teaming up with director Sam Mendes to pen the script for his UNTITLED JAMES BOND 24 PROJECT. Purvis and Wade are well versed in the Bond universe, having also written the scripts for “The World Is Not Enough,” “Die Another Day,” “Casino Royale,” and “Quantum of Solace.” They did the first draft of “Skyfall” before John Logan took over to finish it off. The opposite is happening with this project, though, as Logan wrote the original draft and Purvis and Wade have now been called in to give it a bit of a polish.
Purvis and Wade are also the writers behind Universal’s Bond spoof “Johnny English,” which stars Rowan Atkinson. The duo are sticking to their action roots, though, and are currently working on scripts for “Kojak,” based on the 1970s TV show, and Paramount sequel “The Italian Job 2.”
