The highly anticipated Star Wars Land at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios was officially announced at last year’s D23 Expo and since then, fans have been eagerly eating up any updates they can get their hands on. At the Disneyland park, you can already see the construction for the new land (the best view of it is from a higher level of the parking structure). The land is going to be 14 acres (the largest single-land expansion ever at Disneyland) and is intended to be a fully immersive experience for Star Wars fans across the board.
Today the Disney Parks Blog released brand new concept art for Disneyland’s expansion, which can also be seen on display at the park itself, on a fence along the Big Thunder Trail, which will serve as one of the entrances to this new land.
This new photo is stunning and I’m already thrumming with excitement. If you look close enough, you can see the Millennium Falcon and other ships from the universe parked and ready to go. The river the land juts up against is Disneyland’s Rivers of America, with what looks like the train tracks for the Disneyland Railroad in between them. This is sure to thrill a lot of fans!
