HBO has released a new trailer for the second season of WESTWORLD, which will premiere next month on April 22, and hopefully, it will answer some of the questions left open by the finale of Season 1.
Accompanied by a stirring cover of Nirvana’s “Heart-Shaped Box” arranged by series composer Ramin Djawadi, the trailer teases what’s to come including the briefest of glimpses at the Samurai World that will be visited sometime this season.
The series stars Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright and James Marsden with Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy as showrunners and exec. producers that include Roberto Patino, J.J. Abrams, Bryan Burk and Jerry Weintraub. The show is derived from the 1973 movie written and directed by the late Michael Crichton, who also wrote the novel Jurassic Park.
