Nick Nolte has joined (quite late in the game) the cast of NOAH, Darren Aronofsky’s adaption of the biblical story Noah’s Arc. The cast already includes Russell Crowe, Douglas Booth, Logan Lerman, Emma Watson, Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins and Ray Winstone to name a few. Of course, he’ll be voicing a character not shooting actual scenes. That character is Nephalim, a sort of giant, more specifically a watcher named Samyaza. Honestly, I can’t wait for this movie because it appears Aronofsky is giving a well known bible story all the same flare/inflation we give to epic myths. At the very least it’ll be interesting.
Aronofsky directed a script he co-wrote with Ari Handel and John Logan. He’s also a producer alongside Mary Parent, Scott Franklin and Ric Kidney.
Nolte was last seen in “Gangster Squad” and “Parker.” He’ll next appear in “Hateship Loveship” and “Return to Sender.”
He is repped by CAA.
