Nicole Kidman Books A Trip To “Strangerland”

, and Guy Pearce are joining director Kim Farrant’s drama STRANGERLAND.

The film, written by Michael Kinirons and Fiona Seres, centers on a couple who begin to fall apart when their two teenage children go missing in the Australian Outback. There’s no word on what specific roles each thesp will take.

Naomi Wenck and Macdara Kelleher will produce.

Kidman appeared in the thriller “Stoker” and leads in Olivier Dahan’s upcoming biopic “Grace of Monaco.”

Weaving, aka the villainous Agent Smith in “The Matrix” franchise, was last seen in “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” and will reprise his role of Elrond for the upcoming sequels.

Pearce was last seen in “Lawless”, “Iron Man 3” and “Breathe In” and will next star in “The Rover.”

All three are repped by CAA.
