“Vampire Diaries” star Nina Dobrev will cross over to spin-off series THE ORIGINALS in the upcoming season. The CW series centers on the Mikaelson siblings, The Original vampire family, who return and settle in the city they helped build, New Orleans. Dobrev will play Tatia, a doppleganger with a history with Elijah and Klaus.
Dobrev has starred as Elena on “The Vampire Diaries” for the last five seasons and before that played Mia Jones on “Degrassi: The Next Generation.” On the big screen, Dobrev has appeared in “The Roommate,” “Perks of Being a Wallflower,” and, most recently, “Let’s Be Cops.” Next up, Dobrev will star alongside Malin Akerman in comedy/horror “Final Girls.”
