Nina Dobrev will be joining Asa Butterfield and Maisie Williams in ARRIVALS. The coming-of-age story was a 2013 Nicholl semi-finalist written by Fergal Rock, and will be directed by Peter Hutchings. Brice and Claude Dal Farra are producing.
The film follows American college dropout Calvin (Butterfield) who works as a baggage handler in South Africa. When a British passenger with a terminal illness (Williams) arrives at Cape Town International Airport, she shakes up Calvin’s life as she makes him help her complete her ridiculous bucket list.
Dobrev will be playing a flight attendant who happens to be Calvin’s love interest. She recently left the successful CW show, The Vampire Diaries, after six seasons.
She is repped by CAA and Brillstein Entertainment.
