The holiday comedy OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY just tapped Jamie Chung, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Karan Soni to join the cast. The three will join Jason Bateman and Jennifer Aniston, Kate McKinnon, T.J. Miller, Olivia Munn, Abbey Lee and Randall Park.
The DreamWorks ensemble comedy about an office holiday party that goes off the rails will be directed Will Speck and Josh Gordon. The pair will also serve as producers alongside Scott Stuber, Guymon Casady, and Daniel Rappaport. The latest draft of the script was written by Lee Eisenberg, Gene Stupnitsky and Laura Solon. The movie will be distributed by Paramount and is expected to open in theaters on Dec. 9 release.
Chung recently starred and served as executive producer of the indie drama, Already Tomorrow In Hong Kong. Her past film credits include The Hangover Part III, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For and Big Hero 6. She also appeared in ABC’s Once Upon a Time. She is repped by Gersh and UTA.
Joy currently lends her voice to The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show. Her past credits include The Angriest Man in Brooklyn, Life in Pieces, the ABC series Selfie and. As a Broadway star, she received an Tony Award nomination for her role in Ghost The Musical. She is repped by Paradigm.
Soni recently appeared in the comic book blockbuster, Deadpool. He has also had roles in Goosebumps, Colin Trevorrow’s indie hit Safety Not Guaranteed and the TV series Blunt Talk. He can be seen next in Paul Feig’s upcoming Ghostbusters reboot. He is repped by CAA.
